The new focused survey will be expanded nationwide this year. Having been piloted in 25 facilities last year, CMS has indicated the new survey process will be more widespread in 2015. Among the areas under scrutiny in the new survey process are staffing requirements, coding practices for MDS 3.0, and specific attention on pressure ulcers, restraints and use of psychotropic drugs.

The PBJ Staffing Data Submission Program was introduced with the intent to standardize the reporting requirements and to collect facility information related to direct care staffing and facility census on a more frequent basis, in an electronic format. As currently structured, reporting will be mandatory effective July 1, 2016.

Join us on June 22nd to learn what all of these additional reporting requirements mean to you and how you should approach and/or implement the changes.
